Inside and outside

0 °C inside, all year.

Cold winter air sinks into the cave and stays trapped: the ice lasts all year, even when it is hot outside. In July the afternoon reaches 23 °C at the entrance, 23 °C warmer than inside: take a jacket. The wettest months are from June to August: water rises fast underground, so never go in without a guide after heavy rain.
